These forums are normally used for bad flight experiences, which can be a little depressing - especially if you are planning your holiday in the sun...

So I wanted to share some positive flight experiences, and hope that you might all do the same!

Singapore Airlines

I Have always enjoyed travelling with Singapore Airlines as their standard of customer service always meets and often exceeds my expectations. Flight attendants are always extremely helpful, patient and friendly. The food has always definitely been a plus offering you a choice of western and south eastern dishes. So if you are not a fan of hot food, fear not....other options are available!

A novelty I enjoyed whilst travelling with Singapore Airlines was the fact that I was able to order instant noodles at anytime during the flight...something I got very excited about as a kid!

I would definately recommend travelling with Singapore Airlines if you have not done already, as they seem to have mastered the whole travel package experience to a fine art!

KLM flights

As a child, I spent a number of years travelling as an unaccompanied minor (UM) and during stop over’s I would spend alot of time in UM lounges. From my experience Sciphol airport in Amterdam offered the best facilities for UM travellers and it ended up being one of the very few lounges I didn’t want to leave (great selection of gadgets!). They offer UM all sorts of entertainment including playstations, board games, films and so on. Also if you were on your best behaviour, a great incentive was at hand- a Burger King meal! Don’t actually remember there ever being a naughty corner....

The standard of service on KLM flights, as far as I can remember has always been rather good. The attendants have always been friendly and seem to go out of their way to do the best they can for you. Have always been pleased with the range of dishes that KLM serve up during meal times as well as they are varied and are catered to a variety of tastes.
